Mullah Zakir, a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who now leads a reconstituted Taliban.

The news is that another person released from Guantanamo has turned to the battlefield against us.

Mullah Zakir, a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who now leads a reconstituted Taliban in Afghanistan. this surely further counsels against the viewpoint that these people should be treated to the gamut of USA Citizens' rights. The Constitution guarantees citizens' rights so that a tyrannous faction is prevented from dominating the USA by oppressing citizens who disagree. It is silly, it seems to me, that the same rights should be applied to people who were captured on the battlefield against us. What value does that deliver to the USA and the people who sacrifice to keep it civilized?
The zookeepers know better than to release the snakes in the Zoo. So should we. Keep Guantanamo just as it is, and avoid releasing people who want to go back to destroying the most important defender of the world’s free nations.
