The news is that another person released from Guantanamo has turned to the battlefield against us.
Mullah Zakir, a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who now leads a reconstituted Taliban in Afghanistan. this surely further counsels against the viewpoint that these people should be treated to the gamut of USA Citizens' rights. The Constitution guarantees citizens' rights so that a tyrannous faction is prevented from dominating the USA by oppressing citizens who disagree. It is silly, it seems to me, that the same rights should be applied to people who were captured on the battlefield against us. What value does that deliver to the USA and the people who sacrifice to keep it civilized?
The zookeepers know better than to release the snakes in the Zoo. So should we. Keep Guantanamo just as it is, and avoid releasing people who want to go back to destroying the most important defender of the world’s free nations.

Sotomayor suitability for Supreme Court
Ms. Sotomayor needs to pass one test before the Senate passes her nomination.
Would she be on the shortlist if she were a white male? I think that she would not. Therefore, she should not be confirmed by the Senate. I hope that she will be accorded the same thorough and intensive questioning as Justice Alito received from the Senate.
I cannot imagine the Senate confirming someone who will not uphold the Constitution with a completely unbiased viewpoint.

GLOBAL WARMING
Senators Stabenow and Levin,
How much of the "Greenhouse Effect" is caused by human activity?
It is about 0.28%, if water vapor is taken into account-- about 5.53%, if not.
We would be silly to spend billions to reduce this by a tiny fraction. If Congress brings down the country by spending money this foolishly, it will be a disaster for the world to lose the USA.
Vote NO on Cap and Trade. Not only will it spend on a non-problem, it will provide fictitious investment vehicles for wall street to gamble with.
NO.
